Advances in fishing technologies have allowed the average sport fisherman access to equipment   that will allow him to fish at depths never before possible. Both coasts of North America have vast deep water reef systems that support a tremendous biomass of fish, most of which are superb table fare. Only a very small percentage of sport fishermen are aware of this bounty. The real fishing starts in about 300' and up to 2000' of water. You can catch more fish and larger fish than you ever believed possible by deep drop fishing. I know a lot of fishermen head out to deep water to troll all day for a couple of top water fish. The real bounty is 300-800 feet below. The bottom is covered in canyons, coral formations, mud burrows and various cover loaded with fish such as deep water grouper, snapper, tile fish, rose fish, and numerous other varieties.

   So right now you should be asking yourself,... "How do I catch these fish??"
